As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location of Mantraki Hotel Apartments. It was within walking distance of everything we needed, yet tucked away from the noise. The owners, Maria and Costas, made us feel like family and provided warm and caring hospitality. They were incredibly informative and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do, which turned out to be spot on. We truly appreciated their personalized attention and the authentic Greek experience they provided. Moreover, the hotel was close to two beautiful beaches, the marina, and a lovely lake.

Great hotel place, in the town center, close to beach and all great restaurants. We realy love the place and if we will go back to Crete the Mantraki is definitely on the list of places for our accomodation. We have been given many advises from the caretaker which helped us to buy best cheese, vine, etc. and safe wasted time and cash at the restaurants. Honestly speaking, great pleace to stay.

This hotel is equal to 3 stars. An electric kettle, an oven and glassware were in the apartment. Even though beds were a bit hard here, we loved the property, it was GOAT!

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Situated in a quiet area close to the sea, it offers a stunning view of the harbor. Being in the town center, you will have easy access to everything, from the main square to the beach and the main street.

I couldn't find a single thing to fault with my stay at this hotel. Everything was beyond my expectations.

We couldn't say enough about the Mantraki: great accomadation, location, views of the marina, spacious rooms, clean and best of all a real authentic Cretan experience. The latter was due in no small part to the warm welcome and hospitality afforded by the host family, friends and staff of the hotel. This provided for a very enjoyable and informal experience. It was professional and courteous at all times and any requests we had were granted and done so in a warm and friendly manner. We would fully recommend this accomadation to anyone seeking a positive, friendly and relaxed Cretan holiday.

The balcony view was amazing and the rooms were spacious enough for two people. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the clean sheets and towel change every three days.

Finding the hotel proved quite challenging since it was located down a side street. , the staff was not very welcoming and did not offer any helpful suggestions during our stay.

It was a wonderful experience. The apartment was clean, spacious, confortable, and in a great location. The family that runs the hotel is very kind, helpful and made my stay delightful. I highly recommend Mantraki Hotel Apartments and if I go back to Ag. Nikolaos I will definitely stay there again.

For a female solo traveller Mantraki provided a safe and very friendly environment, conveniently situated for both both beach and shops yet situated in aquiet area. The apartments were attractive and the staff very helpful.

The hotel is in a superb location, just in between two beautiful beaches of the town. The view from the balcony of the rooms is simply stunning and definitely worth the stay. The owners are nice people and always willing to offer some advice on local restaurants and beaches nearby.

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. Optimum location both to visit the city and to go to the near beaches. The staff is very kind and willing to satisfy every need you may have. Just note that it is necessary to inform the staff about the type of bedroom that you prefer (if 2 single beds or just 1 double-bed)

Family run hotel. All very friendly and helpful. No issues at all with the room and facilities. As there were only two of us we preferred the air con to be in the lounge, unlike a previous reviewer who wanted it in the bedroom.
